For example, my book "Good Humor, Bad Taste: A Sociology of the Joke" explores how humor varies across cultures and what it reveals about societal norms. Additionally, I have conducted comparative studies on beauty standards in different global contexts, aiming to understand how aesthetic judgments contribute to social inequality. My work not only adds to academic discourse but also engages with broader public conversations on these essential sociocultural topics.
